Classic hull Waverider's are built on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, where the workshop supervisor is the designer himself.

Luxe Waverider hulls are built in Brisbane, by AusShips, under the supervision of naval architects. All the finishing details are project managed by the Waverider team on the Sunshine Coast.

Government Waveriders are built start-to-finish by AusShips.

Constructed from plate aluminium to best practice standards. The build method is so efficient, the project time is shorter, saving your bottom line and putting your boat in your hands sooner.

WELDS

We stand behind the evenness and strength of our welds. Since welds can be compromised when joining plates of a few mm difference in thickness, smaller Waveriders are 4mm plate throughout, and the bigger boats are 4mm sides and 5mm bottom.

This ensures the welds are as tough as the plates they're joining.

CRAFTSMANSHIP

To achieve greatness in most things, it takes experience, passion and quality instruments.

Each Waverider hull is handmade in Australia by professionals, using three-phase double-pulse mig welders.

Instead of hiring overseas labour, we work closely with our staff to supervise the build every step of the way. Waveriders constructed on the Sunshine Coast are overseen by the designer himself, and Brisbane builds are overseen by naval architects.

Our craftsmanship results in boats that will last a lifetime.
