1. HAVE A CHAT
We'd love to hear from you - whether it's face-to-face, an email, a phone call, or even via Facetime -We're keen to hear what you are looking for in your dream boat, and to see how we can best meet your ambition.
If you've got questions, we'll answer them all, and when we know what you're after, we'll email you a general quote for your consideration.
2. OPTIONS
If you're happy to proceed, we run through the options available and go through your wish-list in more detail for your boat size. When you're satisfied all your boxes are ticked, we'll present a more itemised quote, listing any and all particulars you've requested, for further consideration.
3. TEST DRIVE
When the only thing left is a test ride, book in for an offshore trip and enjoy some wind in your hair! You can thoroughly test the boat's performance, including stability at rest, bar-crossing, flat(ish) bay conditions, ocean swells, and of course, experience the easy drive on/off, launch & retrieve.
4. CONTRACT
When you accept the quote, and our terms of trade, we both sign the Builders Contract. With your deposit, you receive a congratulations package, including drawings of your boat for your reference, and your boat's own Hull Identification Number.
5. BUILD
As soon as the aluminium cut-file arrives, a lot changes regularly, so every 1-2 weeks, you'll receive an email containing a detailed progress report, with photos, so you have a clear understanding and a concise record of your boat's construction.
6. HAND-OVER
When your boat is ready to collect, we'll walk you through the boat and discuss its features and all proper maintenance that's required, so you're confident with your new boat before taking it home or accepting delivery.
WAVERIDER TERMS OF PAYMENT
BARE HULL
-Phase 1
- 50% down, secures spot on build list.
- Aluminium cut-file is ordered.
- 25% due, when build starts.
- 25% balance due, at hand-over.
Build time: approx. 8 - 10 weeks.
BASIC HULL
-Phase 2
- 50% down, secures spot on build list.
- Aluminium cut-file is ordered.
- 25% due, when build starts.
- Interior is built & finished.
- Trimmings & extras fitted & finished.
- 25% balance due, at hand-over.
Build time: approx. 10 - 12 weeks.
THE WORKS + TRAILER
-Phase 3
- 50% down, secures spot on build list.
- Aluminium cut-file & trailer parts ordered.
- Trailer is built.
- 25% due, when build on hull starts.
- Interior built & finished.
- Trimmings & extras fitted & finished.
- 25% balance due, at hand-over.
Build time: approx. 12 - 16 weeks.
