Condensed Brand Story Matching Problem To Solution

As a boatbuilder who actually gets to use the designs we create, having developed the Waverider's with their extra wide reverse chines, then using the latest technology to fit hydrofoils to the hulls, all in the pursuit of a smooth ride in sloppy uncomfortable seas, has led me back to the thousand-year-old trimaran design.
WHY?  You may ask.   Great question. You see the reason is the TRIMARAN design is still used today throughout Indonesia, the Philippines and most Pacific nations for very good reasons.  The out riggers provide stability to the narrow slender main mono hull that is so very easily propelled through the water.
The long slender main hull slices through the swells instead of contouring over them and pounding as we are all accustomed to,  that provides the crew with a smooth ride and great stability when stationary. Who isn't looking for a smoother ride and increased stability?
The TRINITY powered trimaran design has been developed and tested in most sea conditions seen here in Australia including open seas, side on bar crossings and turbulent eddies/ currents with amazing results of stability and smooth ride providing confidence in the safety of the journey.

Your Trinity boat kit includes

  1. Detailed instruction booklet
  2. Cut aluminium pieces
  3. Cats and dogs

After owning  many small boats, the trimaran  was the smoothest riding boat I've ever been in. So I've ordered a TRINITY 600 custom layout with a Mercury 115 HP engine.

Are faster sailing than most Catamarans, and are traditionally more stable.

The three hull configuration of the TRINITY trimaran has been developed for easier construction to allow the home boatbuilder with welding experience to build one DIY for themselves.

Hundreds of years ago the Pacific Islanders began using Trimarans and Canoes with a single outrigger for all their fishing and inter Island travel, and still do today.
Why has this hull configuration been so successful and long lasting for them?
Because it works across the whole marine environment spectrum.
Let me explain from what I have learnt from studying their multihulls and the reason for their success:
Speed,  it's what everyone is looking for from a hull design and the long , narrow hulls have little resistance and drag.
Room to work, comes in a close second, important to be able to perform the job at hand of carrying passengers or fishing.
Safety to get you there and back after your day on the water no matter the conditions.
Smoot ride in rough conditions means you can stay longer and enjoy the time on the water.
Stability whether travelling or at anchor allowing movement around the vessel without concern.
Less effort to power the boat, now this is a biggie. To power the hulls to speed and to maintain it for long periods was important to them, whether loaded or empty, in calm or rough conditions.
Their timber construction material, being lightweight, allows for a long narrow hull with outriggers for their working area and stability that was compatible.
The narrow hulls always look sleek, fast and seaworthy that are easily manually powered.
Where did we go astray from this amazing narrow hull ?  I think we have a lot to learn from our Pacific neighbours and get back on course using our latest design technology and lightweight strong materials on offer.
From my boat design experience and zeal with hydrodynamics, has led me to design the TRINITY trimaran for the home DIY builder and the  fisherman who can appreciate all that is on offer from these amazing craft.
To begin with, you can enjoy less initial outlay for the small economical single outboard engine that is required, then the stability at rest while fishing, safety for the wife and kids when they move around inside the boat, room to take the family pet as well. Dive, Fish, Swim and enjoy your vessel, to return home with your tank half full not half empty.
For the home DIY person, the new design allows not only an easy build, but one that only takes a few weekends to build. Next is the single axle trailer rated to 1500 kg's that'll do the job.
Now the next step is to consider the performance, safety features and affordability for your desired usage.  We're here to help talk you through the best options if you want to home build.  We'd love to chat with you to make the right wise choices.

What people are saying about Trinity Boats

I have gone to sea in most conditions, in all sizes and types of boats and the trimaran TRINITY 600 I tested was the smoothest riding boat, that, even though it wasn't the roughest day, never showed any bad signs of behaviour in all directions we tested the boat in.

David.
Professional Fisherman Sunshine Coast Queensland.

After testing the TRINITY 600 prototype, being the owner of a 5.2 metre power cat for a number of years, using it regularly, I would say the performance and safety [of the TRINITY] were equal to my heavier catamaran. This is next level boating.

It appears from the vessels on the Australian market today, the European design plumb and reverse bows,  hydrofoils and electric propulsion units technology hasn't reached the Australian marine consumer.  This is all about to change with the introduction of the TRINITY 600 Trimaran.  With 14 years of research and marine development experience, two Good Design Australian Awards, proven record of real hull development that continues to expand, it's no wonder Marine Safety Innovations  products, showcase our unsurpassed skills, to bring the very latest and best to our marine customers in the exceptional TRINITY 600.
What other six metre aluminium vessel on the market today has an outboard choice from 60 to 120 horse power?
The Trinity 600 prototype has a Mercury 60 Command Thrust outboard that achieves a top speed of 22 knots at 5,000 rpm's and cruises on 4,200 rpm doing 15 knots in almost ALL sea conditions and directions
What a ride-What a joy.
Marine Safety Innovations Pty Ltd began operations in 2010,  with the introduction of the KAPTEN Boat Collar that was made from a tough closed cell foam, that,  when fitted just above the chine on the outside of a boat, it formed a wide reverse chine that improved the boats performance in eight ways. In 2014, this led to the development of the aluminium WAVERIDER boat with the wider reverse chine built into the hull design. In 2018, In the quest for an "even smoother" ride the latest hydrofoil technology was introduced in the form of retractable hydrofoils to the already successful hull design. Now, after 14 years of R&D in 2024 in the pursuit for an even smoother ride, The TRINITY Trimaran 600 prototype was developed that supersedes all previous attempts for the smoothest ride from a sea going vessel that is truly "Next Level" boating.
The company is built on innovation to lead it into the future to deliver to it's customers the safest, smoothest riding, fast powered economical vessels.  We work for you!
Like a good meal or a satisfying beverage,  you have to physically experience the difference for yourself of the trimaran TRINITY 600.
